Muslim/Arabic Students
Welcome to our group's page:
My topic: Muslim/Arabic Students.
Our members are pictured below:
Chase
Here are my questions that I would like answered for this topic
1. What do they like about the people in Canterbury? Why?
2. Why do Arabic/Muslim students decide to come to New Zealand instead of another country?
3. What things in Canterbury make it easier to adjust?
4. What challenges do they face?
Key Ideas
1. People in Canterbury have a relaxed, friendly attitude with no particular religion.
2. Muslim students come to New Zealand because there are less Muslims and better facilities available.
3. The Mosques and Halal meat remind them of their country.
4. Muslim students face the challenges of limited facilities away from home and very little family support to help them through.
